Can I return the items if I don't like them?

No.  We have a "No Return Policy". 

We are based in Texas.  And, the Texas Department of Health Bureau of Food and Drug Safety Retail Foods Division says, "After being served or sold and in the possession of a consumer, food that is unused or returned by the consumer may not be offered as food for human consumption. "

We recommend that, if you have not tried our products before, you try a can or two and ensure that it is to your liking before you buy a large amount.

If you purchased an item from us and do not like it, give it to a friend or relative.  They may love it.

What is Partially Hydrogenated Coconut Oil (PHCO)?

This ingredient is a component of the non-dairy creamer that is used in our products.  The product contains less than 1/10th of 1% of PHCO.  It has been independently tested to contain ZERO trans fatty acids.  PHCO is considered the "premium" oil to be used in food applications.  Other oils that will dissolve in both a hot and cold application contain trans fatty acids and are considered a lower quality ingredient.

What if I am Lactose Intolerant?

All Caffe D'Vita products are made with non-fat milk of less than 2%.

How long will the product last?

Store in a cool, dry  place.  The expiration date is stamped on the can and is normally 1 year to 18 months away.  They can used past this date, but it may lose its flavor.  It will not go bad.

How much will the shipping cost?

Our costs are determined by DHL Ground charges and are based on weight.  Please remember, that even small orders will be charged the minimum shipping price.  And, it is cheaper to send your orders to a commercial address than a residential address.  They charge a minimum of $2.30 for a residential delivery and also charge "fuel surcharges" (usually $2.20) when a house is outside the city limits.

This is why we use DHL instead of UPS.  Shipping is high enough using the least expensive carrier.

Can I order if I don't live in the 48 contiguous United States?

No.  Due to differing duties, taxes, brokerages fees, etc., it is too difficult to ship outside the United States.

Can you tell me where a local seller is in my area?

We do not keep a list of retail stores that carry this brand for public sale. Many places buy from us at wholesale prices, but a lot serve cappuccino to their customers, but don't sell it (such as bookstores, insurance companies, etc). 

90% of stores that carry the Caffe D'Vita brand only carry French Vanilla or Mocha.  Most do not carry the other less popular flavors.  We cannot keep up with who sells what flavors to the public.  So, we do not keep a list of stores in any area of the country.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Orders usually go out within 24 hours of receiving them (M-F).  But, when stock is low, it can take up to 2 weeks to get to your door.  We strive to get every order out the door as quickly as we can.  If you provide us with an email address, we will send you the tracking number when your order is shipped.

Is my information confidential?

We will NOT sell your information to anyone.  It is for us to fulfill your orders.  Periodically, we will email a sales notice.  But, you have the option of being removed from the mail list and you will receive no more emails from us.

Why is my favorite flavor no longer available?

If it is decided that not enough cappuccino was being sold of the discontinued flavors and that it was not cost effective to keep supplying it.  We are sorry, but this does happen.

Coffee & Drink Definitions

Caffeine:  The alkaloid chemical present in both coffee and tea, that stimulates the nervous system. Caffeine is addictive and there can be side-effects when too much is consumed.

Cappuccino:  A beverage made with a shot of espresso and equal parts steamed and foamed milk. The steamed milk is mixed with the espresso, but the foamed milk is sitting on top. Overall ratio is 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 foamed milk.

Chai:  A spiced tea drink. Chai is usually made with black tea and cream, with spices such as ginger, cloves, cinnamon or cardamom. Tea prepared this way is common in India.

Espresso:  A form of coffee made by drawing steam through ground coffee under pressure. Espresso is much richer and more concentrated than standard drip coffee. It's used as a base for a variety of popular drinks, such as cappuccinos and lattes.

Latte:  A beverage made with a shot of espresso in a cup of steamed milk. Overall ratio is 1/3 espresso, 2/3 steamed milk.  Tastes sweeter than cappuccino.
